Mindset Matters Most

Workplace interruptions can be seen as frustrating challenges to personal success – or – they can be subtle reminders of others’ respect and trust in us. It is amazing the difference a minor change in perspective has on your personal engagements throughout the day.

Every Interruption is a compliment

This is something I tend to wrestle with often, especially when I a have fast approaching timelines or when I am juggling multiple projects at once. To combat my desire to be dismissive and gruff with the presumed offender of my time, I have this note written in a sticky note on my desk, gently reminding me that people should always come first.

Our mindset plays a significant role in shaping our day-to-day experiences and interactions. As we approach the new year – choose to see the positives, choose to be open to others, choose to lead inspired!
